In #Japan, elementary school kids conduct interviews with shopkeepers, to learn a bit about what their jobs are like. Here’s a class visiting a fishmonger, in #Totsuka #Yokohama. I remember our daughters did this.

A neat aspect is all the signs, saying what kind of fish is available and that it’s “direct from Misaki” which is the tip of the Miura Peninsula near where the Yokosuka military base is. Also, to the front right, you can get raw oysters and “OK to eat them standing right here!” I think I’ll try it next time.
